In the beginning, when the universe was dark and void, God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Into the darkness of this world’s sin and death, God sent His Son to be the light of the world. God has called us out of the darkness into His marvelous light. Because of Jesus we can experience the light of God’s eternal love. “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the sky above” (Dan. 12:3).
