Congregations sometimes have unrealistic expectations of their pastor. This can lead to the pastor feeling overworked, unappreciated, depressed and wanting to leave the ministry. Many people don’t have a clue as to what a pastor is supposed to do and what he owes the people of God. Today we look to the Word of God and consider what God expects of the man serving His people as their pastor.
